CELESTE: HET GEHEIM

Geheim

Wat is het geheim van het katholiek zijn.
Simpel dit is de eucharistie
Dit is het enige wezelijke verschil met het protestantisme
Verder zijn er veel overeenkomsten.
Ik geloof ook in het doen van dingen en verder alleen de geestelijke communie ontvangen.
Veel mensen ken ik die goede dingen doen en niet in de kerk te communie kunnen.
Als je in de kerk zit en je bidt voor de geestelijke communie dan helpt de heilige Geest je.
De Geest brengt de communie naar die dierbaren voor wie je dit wilt.
Ik denk dat alle religies of levenshoudingen iets Christelijk hebben.
Boeddhisme verteld ook dat Christus bij hen was en oud werd.
Hindu-isme ziet Christus ook al een van de goden wat ik me kan herinneren.
De Islam ziet Christus ook als een profeet net zoals de joden
Het geheim in alle religies is dat Christus als naaste wordt gezien en dit
verkonigde Hij Onze Heer Jezus Christus zelf altijd heb je naaste lief als jezelf
Dit was ook duidelijk in de bergrede.

But the oldest complete versions are in the ancient Ethiopian language of Ge’ez because Ethiopian Christians are the only enduring church group that revered the book as Scripture.
James C. VanderKam, a professor of Hebrew Scriptures at Notre Dame University and a leading expert on the Book of Enoch, has inspected the book on loan to the trust and estimates that it’s probably one of the five oldest manuscripts of the work.
“We don’t have very many that go back that far,” said VanderKam, who is co-author of an English translation of Enoch and is working on a commentary. VanderKam estimated that the text was about 500 years old because its script and contents are similar to a manuscript of that age in the British Museum. Specialists in Ethiopian script could make a more specific determination, he said.

Uit: Altaarmissaal

In Rome aan het Piazza Venezia staat de basiliek van San Marco, een kerk toegewijd aan de apostel en evangelist Marcus. Het is niet zo’n opvallend grote kerk, maar het is wel een van de oudste kerken van Rome. Ze zou gebouwd zijn boven het huis waar de evangelist verbleef. Volgens een oud getuigenis was Marcus de tolk van Petrus. Wij kunnen ons voorstellen hoe Christenen bij hem kwamen luisteren naar wat hij over de begintijd te vertellen had. In de nacht van Pasen zaten ze er wellicht samen om het lijden van de Heer te gedenken, maar vooral om te vieren dat Jezus de dood heeft overwonnen. Marcus vertelde hun het evangelie van de Heer Jezus, de zoon van God.

Het evangelie van Marcus is een kort evangelie, het kortste van de vier evangeliën. Het leest vlot weg. Het is een evangelie, waar haast in steekt. Na een korte inleiding begint Marcus met het optreden van Johannes de Doper en gaat meteen over op de doop en de verzoeking van Jezus. Pal daarop gaat het al over de roeping van de eerste discipelen. Marcus wil niet dralen met zijn verhaal. Het is op weg gaan en van plaats tot plaats optrekken om in Jeruzalem aan te komen.

Het Marcus-evangelie is het oudste ons overgeleverd. Het zou zijn geschreven rond het jaar 70 van onze jaartelling voor Christenen, die voor het merendeel van niet-joodse afkomst waren. Marcus besefte dat de oog- en oorgetuigen uit de tijd van Jezus verdwenen. Hij wilde ervoor zorgen dat de gedachtenis aan Jezus niet zou vergeten worden en hij maakt gebruik van reeds bestaande korte verhalen over Jezus.

Marcus vertelt opdat door zijn woord Jezus steeds present zou zijn en verder zou leven. Hij vertelt opdat de verkondiging van en over Jezus zou blijven klinken. Marcus schrijft en vertelt opdat de gemeente niet zou inslapen. Dit dreigde wel te gebeuren. De eerste ijver was geluwd. Marcus wil de gemeente wakker schudden zoals de profeten dit hebben gedaan. Hij steunt haar om stand te houden wanneer vervolgingen aanbreken. Hij wist over vervolgingen in Jeruzalem en in Rome (Nero) en elders in het Romeinse rijk. Christenen werden voor de leeuwen geworpen en in brand gestoken.

De liturgie laat Marcus aan het woord op de eerste zondag van de Advent. De liturgie kiest dan voor de toespraak over de eindtijd. Die rede is geschreven om tot waakzaamheid aan te sporen. Tot drie maal toe legt Jezus daarop de nadruk: "Wees op je hoede, wees waakzaam."

In het station lees en hoor ik berichten dat ik moet opletten voor zakkenrollers, dat ik geen bagage onbewaakt mag laten staan. Maar de waakzaamheid in het evangelie is een andere. Ze roept op klaar te staan wanneer de Heer komt. Hij zegt dat wij klaar moeten staan om hem te ontmoeten en hem in zijn eigen huis binnen te laten. Jezus vertelt daarbij het verhaal van een man die het beheer van zijn huis overdraagt aan zijn dienaren. Zij moeten zijn huis beheren. En ook wij hebben de opdracht gekregen om de schepping, deze wereld, het huis van God, te beheren en in waakzaamheid uitzien naar zijn wederkomst.

Marcus verkondigt hoop om de vervolging te weerstaan en te overleven. Voor hem bestaat onze taak erin dat wij de Heer verkondigen, hem navolgen en zijn werken doen. Ik moet daarbij denken aan een uitspraak van de beroemde arts Albert Schweizer.

Albert Schweizer ziet de waakzaamheid als een houding, "waarin de mens steeds verantwoordelijk staat tegenover de Heer die komt en waarbij hij zich door niets laat afhouden van een voortdurende bereidheid."

Wie zo waakzaam is, volgt Albert Schweizer, volgt de evangelist Marcus en volgt Jezus van Nazaret

Jezus heeft gezegd: “Ik ben de Weg, de Waarheid en het Leven”. Dat ons oog daarop gericht mag zijn en blijven. Dat wens ik u toe in deze tijd van bijzondere aandacht, de adventstijd. Advent betekent komst, God komt naar ons toe.

De adventstijd heeft een dubbele betekenis. Het is de voorbereidingstijd op het Kerstfeest, de geboorte van Jezus Christus in onze mensengeschiedenis ruim 2000 jaar geleden. Wij vieren en gedenken dat en willen dat licht der wereld ook in ons leven binnenlaten. Advent is ook de periode van verwachting van Jezus' wederkomst op het einde der tijden, wanneer God alles in allen zal zijn.

Vandaag begint die tijd waarin wij toeleven naar de geboorte van Jezus in ons leven. De evangelist Marcus spreekt met zijn waakzaamheid ook over de verwachting van die Wederkomst. Wij mogen daarom in vertrouwen en geloof in verwachting daarnaar uitzien. God zal het goed met ons maken, dat is de boodschap van de advent. Ik wens u allen daarom een goede en mooie tijd op weg naar Kerstmis..

2001. A clandestine meeting of leading Israeli archaeologists are shown a remarkable artefact. It's a stone tablet, apparently from 1,000BC. The writing on its face describes repairs to the temple of King Solomon. It is the first archaeological evidence ever found of this legendary building. The relic caused a sensation. But this was only just the start. For authentication, the tablet was taken to the Geological Survey of Israel. Here, after a battery of tests, including radiocarbon dating, scientists officially pronounced the stone to be genuine.
