Evangelical leader Ray Comfort, known as the bananaman, interviews evolution proponents (mostly students) from different universities in the United States and tries to expose the so called “unscientific nature” of evolution which he refers to as a “blind faith”, not science. The film tries to show intelligent design as a competing theory and suggests that the academe continues to bully intelligent design as an option. God zijn stem klinkt door de zachte geruis van de wind.
Gisteren was ik naar de tandarts.
Het geluid van de boormachine hoor je reeds in de wachtkamer.
Het lijkt op een geluid van een gigantische vlieg die je niet ziet.
De afstand tussen de tandarts kamer en de wachtkamer is om en nabij 8 meter en toch hoor je dit irritante geluid van de boormachine.
Bij een vlieg hoor je zijn geluid en je ziet de vlieg ook. Hoe klein hij of zij ook is.
Jij Theresje bent morgen denkt tante 17 jaar.
Jij mag bijna gaan stemmen.
Nog 1 jaar geduld lieve nichtje.
Tante vindt jouw toch een zeer bijzondere leeftijd hebben.

Bij onze laatste adem uitblazen verkeren we in een noodsituatie.
We zijn bang voor het komende en de bekende los te laten.
We vinden dit zeer eng en dit is te merken bij bijna alle mensen die op hun sterfbed zijn.
De laatste adem is onze eerste adem die we van God de Vader ontvangen hebben.
We geven deze adem aan de Schepper terug.
Deze adem gaat terug naar de aarde.
Dit is ook de aarde waar onze as of waar we zelf in gaan rusten.
Als we goede werken hebben gedaan heeft deze adem zich reeds vermenigvuldigt.
Op eigen krachten gaan we na dit leven de tunnel door om bij de schepper te komen.
Deze krachten putten we uit onze goede daden werken en het goede gedaan door ons met onze ontvangen talenten.
We moeten sterven om onze goede werken gedaan met onze talenten hemelse krachten te laten verwerven.
Ergens in de bijbel staat iets van een mosterd zaadje die eerst sterven moet in de aarde om zich te gaan ontplooien tot een grote boom.
Het zelfde gebeurd ook met ons na dit leven.
We sterven af en leggen alles in Gods handen en dan gaan we door de tunnel naar het licht.
Niemand is teruggekeerd die eenmaal in dit Eeuwige Licht is geweest.
Alleen Christus Onze Heer is terug gekeerd.
Dit kon Hij omdat Hij de mensgeworden Zoon van God werkelijk is.
Wij hoeven niet meer te ademen als we eenmaal in het Licht der Lichten zijn aangekomen.
Dus komen we ook niet meer in ademnood angsten want daar in Het Licht is het goed vertoeven.

Smaller
De weg door de tunnel na dit aardse leven is heel erg smal.
Alle zonde blijft erin kleven.
Sommigen van ons komen zonder handen voeten oren ogen enzovoorts aan in het eeuwig Licht.
Het Licht der Lichten die alles wat puur en zuiver is verdraagt.
Sommigen komen niet uit de tunnel want alles wat ze zijn verdwijnt in de tunnel of blijft steken in de tunnel.
Eenmaal in het Licht der Lichten verwelkomt de Vader, Zoon en Heilige Geest je aan tafels waar plek is voor velen voor je eeuwige maaltijd.
Dan is het volbracht.
Je wordt herenigd met je familie.
Je bent zo blij dat je geen vragen meer hebt voor de Heer wat je wel op aarde had.
Op aarde vroeg je de Heer hoezo?waarom? Help mij?
Nu voel je je helemaal geholpen.
Als je enkel terug denkt aan de weg op pad door de tunnel dan vindt je het bij de Vader meer dan de moeite waard.
Wat je als onmogelijk hield is gebeurd.
Je bent er bij Hij die is en er zal zijn.
Ook als je terug denkt aan je worsteling en slenteren door de tunnel die smaller en smaller werd werd je bij het zien van Het Licht op het einde dankbaar.
De Heerlijkheid en gelukzaligheid die je voelt is niet in woorden te omschrijven of benoemen.

Galileo
Galilei (1564-1642) rocked the existing worldview and religious
thoughts and dogma, by proposing, after several scientific
experiments (with a Dutch telescope), that our planet is not the
centre of God's universe but was in fact one of several planets
orbiting the sun.
The
Catholic Church rejected and condemned this analysis and in an infamous
trial by the Inquisition in Rome (1632), Galileo was forced to admit
publicly that he had been wrong and his writings were forbidden.
Furthermore he was sentenced to house-arrest for life and forbidden
to publish anything on this subject and/or have contact with other
scientists.
But
Galileo's new view on the cosmos and the solar system became
prevalent and found his way into Europe's mainstream science.
It
took the Roman Catholic Church till 1822 to lift the ban on his books
and thoughts.

WHAT happened in 1775
The American Revolution begins this year, with the first military engagement being the April 19 Battles of Lexington and Concord on the day after Paul Revere's now-legendary ride. The Second Continental Congress takes various steps toward organizing an American government, appointing George Washington commander-in-chief (June 14), Benjamin Franklin postmaster general (July 26) and creating a Continental Navy (October 13) and a Marine force (November 10) as landing troops for it, but as yet the 13 colonies have not declared independence, and both the British (June 12) and American (July 15) governments make laws. On July 6, Congress issues the Declaration of the Causes and Necessity of Taking Up Arms and on August 23, King George III of England declares the American colonies in rebellion, announcing it to parliament on November 10. On June 17, two months into the colonial siege of Boston, at the Battle of Bunker Hill, just north of Boston, British forces are victorious, but only after suffering severe casualties and after Colonial forces run out of ammunition, Fort Ticonderoga is taken by American forces in New York Colony's northern frontier, and American forces unsuccessfully invade Canada, with an attack on Montreal defeated by British forces on November 13 and an attack on Quebec repulsed December 31.
